Virtual Gifts are fun gifts you can send to other members using your points. Gifts appear in the message center.

From the Message Center:

  1. Select the members you would like to send a gift to by checking the checkboxes to the left of their profile photo.
  2. Click on the “gift box” icon.
  3. The gifts popup will be displayed. Select the gifts you would like to send and the points will be automatically deducted from your account. After you have made your selections, click to send your gifts. If you are a Gold member, you can send a custom message.
  4. You can verify that your gifts have been sent by viewing your message center.

From anywhere else on the site:

  1. Find a member on the site to whom you would like to send a gift.
  2. Hover over their profile photo to see the “profile preview” and click on “Message.” You can also click on “Message” from the Search pages.

There are several alternative payment methods available. If you would like to purchase a premium membership and credit card payment is not an option for you, you can do either of the following:

1. Send either a check or money order to Various, Inc. Attn: Billing Dept.910 E. Hamilton Ave., Sixth Floor, Campbell, CA 95008. The check or money order should be payable to Various, Inc. and must be in US dollars. You must keep a receipt of your payment for future reference.

2. Fax or mail your credit card information. Print the credit card page and fill it out. The owner of the credit card must sign the bottom of the page to give the authorization to charge their card. Send the filled out page to the address above or by fax. Your credit card will be charged within 72 hours and your premium status will be immediately activated.

There are many reasons why an order comes back denied by your financial institution. Most common are:

  • Insufficient funds available (tax is not added to the listed price).
  • Your card has expired.
  • Your billing address does not match the card statement.
  • CVV/CVV2 number is incorrect or incomplete.

When you click “Billing History & Credit Card Info” on your ‘My Account’ page, you’ll see all active features and billing information for your current subscription.

If you would like to upgrade your membership, you simply need to click on the “Upgrade Now” link located on the top left side of your member homepage.

Passion.com has an “Auto Renew” feature which will automatically renew your membership and any additional features such as highlights, private chats, or standard contacts. Your account will be renewed using the credit card you have on file on your “Billing History & Credit Card Info” page. You can update your credit card information on your “Billing History & Credit Card Info” page so that you will always have a current credit card on file.

If you do not wish to automatically renew your Premium subscription, highlight, or private chatroom, you can turn off this feature.

  1. Log into the site using your username and password.
  2. From your member homepage, click on the “My Account” link from the top menu.
  3. Click the “Billing History & Credit Card Info” link in the Account section.
  4. At the top of the page, you will see product status.
  5. To turn off your auto renew, click “OFF” under product status.

In order to change your password:

  1. Log into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the “My Account” link.
  3. Click on the “Password” link in the Account section.
  4. Enter your old and new passwords in the appropriate boxes and click on the “Update” button.

To change your email address:

  1. Log into the site using your username and password.
  2. Click on the “My Account” link.
  3. Click on the “Email” link in the Account section.
  4. Type your new email address and password in the appropriate boxes and click on the “Update” button.

Once you’ve changed your email address, it must be verified. The site does this by sending a new password to the new email address you entered. Once you’ve logged in using the new password, you will regain full access to the site.
